Home Buying Class

Buying a home can feel daunting - but it doesn’t have to be. We have developed a simple process that anyone can use to transition from renter to owner. If you want to buy a home at some point, we would love to invite you to our first time homebuyer class. It will be fun, there’s no pressure to do anything, and dinner is provided!

You will leave with a full understanding of the home buying process and a step by step plan for how to get into your first home.

Some of the topics we’ll cover:

• How to buy a house for the same price as your rent

• Today’s market and how to navigate it

• How much house you can comfortably afford

Things you might not know:

• The average first time home buyer puts about 5% down on a purchase.

• It’s possible to buy a house with $0 down with help from the Washington State Housing Finance Commission

• On time rent payments can help build your credit score

It takes some work and some education but home ownership is much more achievable than most people think!

Dinner and drinks will be provided! If you have any friends or family who might benefit from this class, feel free to invite them as well.
